Baby squirrel sleeping in the leaves
Connor trying to pet the squirrelJustin's grandmother and grandfather found a baby squirrel that was all alone in their yard today. We think that its mother was killed, so the baby needs a new mommy to help it with eating. Justin called mom and asked her if she knew anyone who would want a baby squirrel. Mom, being the animal lover she is, said she would take it. She had baby squirrels and racoons when she was a little girl. We got the squirrel today and fed it milk with a baby medicine syringe. It loved the milk. Hopefully, it is going to survive. Connor kept wanting to love on it, but we were afraid he would hurt it because it is so tiny. Still do not have a name for it yet, nor do we know if it is male or female. We are just happy it is eating so well.
